William has nearly a decade of business advisory experience working with numerous middle-market business and private equity firms. While at Goldblum Lentz & Co, William has taken a leading role on eleven transactions representing nearly $350 million in enterprise value. These transactions represent a diverse range of industries, such as defense research, aerospace manufacturing, natural food products, financial institutes and branded active lifestyle. While the industry may vary, William's financial acumen, professional demeanor, and strong-work ethic have consistently helped clients attain their goals.
After David Goldblum, GLC's founder and managing partner, passed away, William stepped up to complete the firms most recent transaction and has been focused on maintaining the same level of excellence Goldblum Lentz & Co has been known for over 25 years.
Beyond his considerable business strategy and M&A transaction experience, William also has an eclectic mix of experience working on his family’s ranch in Wyoming, the Colorado Water Conservation Board, and serving in the United States Army, where he remains a member of the Army Reserve to this day.
In his free time, William is an avid traveler, having visited over 30 nations in 5 continents. As a native of the mountains, he can regularly be found enjoying Colorado’s high country camping, skiing, snowboarding, hiking or white water rafting. William and his wife are also long-time supporters of the Jefferson Center for Mental Health, a non-profit focused on helping local underprivileged children and adults overcome trauma and mental illness. William also sits on the board of Destination Imagination Colorado, a non-profit focused on helping prepare Colorado’s kids to be the innovators of the future by combining the arts, sciences, and technology with creativity, teamwork, and problem solving.
